Here is a statue that is quite culturally Chinese. The gesture represents 'thank you' or just a way to show respect. Around Chinese New Year, it is done in Hong Kong a lot as people wish others happy Chinese New Year.

You can see it in Tsim Sha Tsui on Nathan Road near the Kowloon Park.
