Mongkok Computer Centre

The Mongkok Computer Center is a few floors of practically nothing but shops selling computers, computer peripherals and supplies, digital electronics, and cell phones. Most of the shops are not chain stores but their prices are sometimes better than the chain stores.

If you are just passing through Hong Kong, just realize that you can't quite bring something back to get serviced once you leave! Personally I have had good experience in getting small things from the small shops in computer shopping centers in general, but have chosen to deal with chain stores when it comes to big purchases. There're quite a few of them on the nearby Sai Yeung Choi Street South.

Just like most all the other computer shopping centers in Hong Kong, it is crowded especially during off-work hours.

It is located on Nelson Street in Mongkok, quite close to the "Ladies Market" on Tung Choi Street. And the "goldfish street", as the locals call it, is also near by.

The easiest way to get there would be by MTR. Just get off at the Mongkok station (not the East Mongkok station).
